We are all in this together

As a graduate of the University of Hawai‘i, you are an important part of the UH ‘ohana. By now we are all aware of the ever-evolving COVID-19 crisis and the challenges and uncertainties that come with it. Despite the ongoing situation, we want to assure you that the Office of Alumni Relations is still committed to serving you and keeping you connected to the UH community.

Below we provide updates, resources and opportunities for you to get involved. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us at contact@uhalumni.org.

All of our alumni events have been postponed until further notice. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We take the health of our alumni, friends, students and staff very seriously and appreciate your understanding in this matter. We plan to reschedule the postponed events and will keep you informed once new dates have been confirmed.

Ways you can help

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, UH and the UH Foundation have set up two new funds to support crucial areas, for urgent student relief and COVID-19 and infectious and emerging diseases research.

As of April 23, the Urgent Student Relief Fund has received over $1,041,325 in cash gifts and commitments. We are so moved by the response from our community and hope this promising momentum continues. The students’ need for support is urgent, and every dollar is making a difference.

Virtual resources and opportunities

Although we are not able to gather in person, several University of Hawai‘i colleges, programs, groups and alumni have developed valuable online and virtual resources that you can access from the comfort of your own home. See our virtual engagement page for more information.

In addition, we invite you to join UH Connect—an online community exclusively for University of Hawai‘i alumni, students, faculty, staff, and parents. The platform provides a space where users can connect, build their professional networks, seek or give career advice and more.
