The University of Hawaiʻi is dedicated to preparing its students for thriving careers. Recognizing the crucial role of practical experience and professional networks, the Office of Alumni Relations and the Office of the Vice President for Academic Strategy (OVPAS) are excited to launch the Post-grad Success Initiative, a program connecting current UH students with alumni through internships. 

Bridging the Gap to Opportunity

Research by the Strada Education Foundation shows that internships are invaluable for college students, boosting confidence, building networks, and leading to higher career satisfaction and incomes. However, disparities exist in internship access across different student groups. The Post-grad Success Initiative aims to bridge these gaps by offering diverse internship placements, both on-campus and within their professional networks.
