Windward CC Visual Arts Tour
On Saturday, November 4, 2017, donors, alumni and friends joined Chancellor Doug Dykstra for a special hands-on experience of the visual arts programs that Windward CC offers.
Paul Nash, ceramics professor, spoke about the many classes offered to students including photography, screen printing, printmaking, and global art. Guests then immersed themselves in hands-on classes where they explored their personal creativity. Nash led a clay bowl making workshop titled Get Fired Up while art instructor Bryce Myers led Inside-Out of Realism and Abstraction, an acrylic painting workshop.
After the workshops guests enjoyed a healthy lunch buffet at Hale Ākoakoa - Uala Café. Mahalo to all who joined us!
