UH alumni and friends in Arizona gathered together at the annual Aloha Festival at Tempe Beach Park. A crowd of about 175,000 people attended the two-day event which took place on March 12 and 13.
UHAA and UH Mānoa Admissions representatives were on hand at the “Ohana Village” to meet and recruit potential students and alumni members.
After the Saturday festival, 2015 Distinguished Alumni Awards honoree Ren Hirose hosted an informal potluck for three dozen alumni and friends at his beautiful and spacious Scottsdale home.
Attendees had so much fun reminiscing about their UH days that Hirose believes he has enough potential members to launch an official Arizona chapter with the UH Alumni Association!
We welcome our Arizona friends to our Alumni ‘Ohana!
