2017 UHAA PNW Annual Picnic and Student Sendoff
The UHAA Pacific Northwest Chapter’s Annual Alumni and New Student Sendoff Picnic was a hit! On July 29, 2017, alumni, friends and incoming UH students and their families gathered at Enatai Beach Park—the perfect setting as it is a reminder of the gorgeous views and amazing weather of Hawai‘i.
This year was by far the biggest picnic with the alumni welcoming 15 new students and their families to talk story before leaving for the islands. A big Mahalo to Jana and Alex for joining the group this year to talk about their current experience in Hawai‘i and for giving the new students some tips for when they arrive in August.
