Military Friendly Schools
Honolulu Community College, Kapiʻolani Community College, Leeward Community College and the University of Hawaiʻi Maui College have each been named a Military Friendly School for 2016 by Victory Media.
The Military Friendly Schools designation is awarded to colleges around the country that are doing the most to embrace the military student population by dedicating resources to ensure the students’ success in the classroom and after graduation.
This year, more than 2,900 military veterans and active duty military members and their dependents attend the University of Hawaiʻi Community Colleges.
