Update on Hawaii Promise Program bills

New Hearing Scheduled

A hearing has been scheduled for SB 1162, SD2 relating to the University of Hawai‘i Promise Program with the House Committee on Higher Education.

The hearing is taking place Tuesday, March 21, 2017.

Submitting testimony:

  • Submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing – by Monday March 20, 2 p.m.

Ways to submit testimony:

  • PAPER:  25 copies (including an original) to Room 326 in the State Capitol
  • FAX: For testimony less than 5 pages in length, transmit to (808) 586-6511 (O‘ahu) or 1-800-535-3859 (for Neighbor Islander without a computer to submit testimony through e-mail or the web); or
  • WEB: For testimony less than 10MB in size, transmit from http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/submittestimony.aspx.
