Alumni Advocacy: Your Voice Counts

Now that the 2019 Legislative Session has kicked off, we have an opportunity to support University of Hawai‘i students and programs through legislative advocacy.

UH alumni are a very important group when it comes to talking to our legislators.

What you can do

Stay informed on ways you can take action in support of UH. Sign up for our advocacy alerts by completing the volunteer form.
Register to vote. Help select the people who make the decisions for our state.
Find out who represents you on the state level. As your state senators and state representatives, they are particularly interested in your thoughts about the legislation they are working on.

The UH government relations team monitors legislation that has a potential impact upon the university, responds to constituent inquiries and collaborates with other UH campuses and the community to build support for the university. Visit their site for more information and updates.
