TIM: Nā Kukui Netlinks
On April 14, 2016, over 115 people attended the Nā Kukui Netlinks event at the Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki.
This event provides students with an opportunity to network with industry professionals and receive advice and insights about careers in the travel industry.
Through the years, Nā Kukui Netlinks has not only become a great networking event for students but is also an event planned by students. Since 2009, students in the Special Events Management course have planned this event from start to finish with the support of the TIM alumni association, TIM International, Inc.
Along with a night of networking, the evening also includes a presentation of the Outstanding TIM Student Awards. These awards highlight the leadership and academic accomplishments of students and faculty. This year’s award recipients are:

- Outstanding Junior in TIM, Trang L. Nguyen
- TIM International Award of Excellence, Eun-Hae Whang
- Dean's Scholar Award, Diane Z. Yang
- Dean's Service Award, Natasha-Ann U. Akee
- Dean's Spirit of TIM Award, Sheryll Ann U. Ines
- Outstanding Graduate Student in TIM, Wen Yu
