Shidler Southern California Yacht Cruise
It was smooth sailing aboard The Dulcinea which is owned by Shidler alumnus Bill Johnson (BBA ’65) and his wife Sue. Everyone had a fantastic time eating, drinking, and mingling while taking in the scenic views and fresh ocean breeze.
Thank you to those who were able to join us for the September 11 cruise and a big mahalo to Bill and Sue for their incredible hospitality and generosity in hosting this event aboard their yacht.
About Bill and Sue Johnson
Bill and Sue Johnson are strong community advocates and philanthropists. Over the years, the couple has given generously of their time and resources to support universities and non-profit organizations in Southern California. In 2006, the Johnsons donated to Bill’s alma mater, the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa Shidler College of Business, to establish two distinguished professorships. In 2012, the Johnsons made an additional $1M gift supporting the study abroad program. Thank you to the Johnsons for their continued support. Bill and Sue are co-owners of Johnson Machinery Co., a major supplier of heavy construction and industrial equipment throughout Southern California and Western Arizona.
