JABSOM alum thanks UH for changing his life

Seang Seng (JABSOM, '13) lived through the brutal Khmer Rouge regime. When Vietnam defeated Khmer Rouge, Seng was a refugee in Thailand. He and his pregnant wife were moved to Hawaiʻi days before their first son was born. Seng earned his high school equivalence degree through an adult education program at Kaimukī High School, attended Kapiʻolani CC, and earned his degree at JABSOM in 1988. He and his family moved to Modesto, California where he practices medicine. All three of his children are training in the medical field. His son, Kosal, graduated from JABSOM in 2013.
