Rol joins Hawaii’s Plantation Village board

William “Bill” Rol, community relations officer at Matanuska Valley Federal Credit Union has joined the executive board of Hawaii’s Plantation Village as vice president. In his role, Rol will help the organization build membership and increase community awareness.

As an active community member, Rol has served on the Waipahu Aloha Clubhouse board since 2016 and is a perpetual member of the Filipino Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii since 1993, where he launched the chamber’s first annual scholarship golf tournament in 1995 and served as president in 2001. He is a member of the Christ Centered Community Church (C4) where he founded the C4 Surf, Stand Up Paddle and Canoe-Surf Ministry programs.

Rol earned a bachelor of business administration from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa in 1981 and has 30 plus years of experience in Hawai‘i’s bank and credit union industry.
