Quin Ogawa named new CFO

Quin Ogawa will lead, manage and direct strategy for all financial matters related to Kahi Mohala’s hospital operations and related business entities. He will work with the senior management team to continue to maintain and strengthen Kahi Mohala’s mission of caring for people in need by providing innovative, quality behavioral health services.

Ogawa was most recently vice president of finance and CFO for Kuakini Health System. While at Kuakini, he helped negotiate an innovative efficiency services agreement which used future energy savings that resulted in more than $5 million in new energy efficient heating, venting, air conditioning and lighting equipment with no cash outlay and completed a $30 million tax-exempt revenue bond offering. He has held various financial positions at Kuakini spanning a 16-year time period.

Over his career, Ogawa served as director of fiscal services for Shriners Hospitals for Children, and senior auditor and senior consultant at KPMG.

Ogawa holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and is a certified public accountant in the State of Hawai‘i (active license). He is a former board director for Catholic Charities Hawai‘i and was named a Pacific Century Fellow in 2003.
