Innovative Farming Practice in Hawai‘i
Gary Maunakea-Forth was born and raised in the farming community of Levin in Aotearoa, New Zealand. He completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa earning an MA in environmental and political science. Maunakea-Forth co-founded the non-profit organization WCRC and MA‘O Organic Farms with his wife Kukui. He is the farm operations director at MA‘O Organic Farms.
