Confessions of an Enemy of the People

Wednesday, January 30, Ellis Henican offered "Confessions of an Enemy of the People: Media in the age of Trump," the most recent presentation in the Better Tomorrow Speaker series in the architecture building at UH Mānoa.

Henican is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, regular TV news commentator and prolific, bestselling author. A lucid commentator on modern politics, Henican has published on a dizzying array of topics, from espionage to professional football to post-traumatic stress disorder. In addition to reporting, Henican regularly consults for companies and non-profits on how to harness the power of storytelling to enhance their brands.

Launched in 2011, UH Mānoa’s Better Tomorrow Speaker series presents compelling, incisive talks on some of the most important questions of our time. Bringing together experts of world renown with students, faculty, elected officials, and community leaders, the series spotlights emerging research and innovative solutions to public problems.
