Class Notes: Bree Nidds (BA ’12)
Bree Nidds (BA ’12) has been named VP of Sales at Discover Lehigh Valley, an organization promoting travel and tourism to Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley region. Nidds gained valuable experience at Visit Virgina’s Blue Ridge as its Director of Sports Development where she promoted sports-related travel to the Blue Ridge area. Prior to that she served as sales manager at Wilmington and Beaches Convention and Visitors Bureau in North Carolina. She is currently studying at North Carolina State University in the Master of Parks, Recreation, Tourism and Sports Management program.
“As Vice President of Sales, Bree’s enthusiasm and knowledge of convention sales and sports marketing will be an invaluable asset to our region,” said Discover Lehigh Valley President and CEO Alex Michaels. “Bree will serve as a leader and mentor to our talented sales team while marketing Lehigh Valley as a top meetings and events destination.”
Nidds is a graduate of the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, where she earned a degree in Communication Studies.
