Arts and Culture with Carol Khewhok
Carol currently holds the position of Program Manager at Shangri La, the Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Arts. Carol was formerly Director of the Academy Art Center at the Honolulu Museum of Art from 1992-2008.
Prior to leading the Arts Center, she served as Director of Public Relations at the Honolulu Museum of Art from 1987 -1992 and Head of the Fine Arts Department at the La Salle University of Fine Arts, Singapore.
She holds a Master of Arts with a Specialization in Asian Studies with major coursework in modern Southeast Asian history, anthropology and Indonesian from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa.
