Alumna wins at 2015 International Videographer Awards

Float Like A Duck™ Water Safety Public Service Announcement (PSA) starring the adorable, family-friendly mascot Duckie won an Award of Distinction in the 2015 International Videographer Awards competition.

The informative and educational PSA is a collaboration between Paragon Pools’ Float Like A Duck™ program and Clark County, Nevada to bring more awareness to the importance of water safety. The message of the award-winning PSA touting the ABCDs of water safety is relevant worldwide, encouraging everyone, especially those with children, to be conscious around all bodies of water.

Representing Paragon Pools, Mary Vail ('82) was the executive producer for the project and handled concept development, scriptwriting, production coordination, talent casting, location scouting, and props.  In addition, Vail secured a partnership with Clark County’s Office of Public Communications to produce the PSA.
