Kapi‘olani CC Alumni and Friends Recognition Dinner
On October 21,2017, Kapi‘olani Community College Alumni and Friends held its annual recognition dinner at the College’s Le‘ahi Concept Kitchen in Waikīkī. Harry Nakayama, Program Director Radiologic Technology, Health Services Department was honored as this year’s Distinguished Alumni recipient for his forty years of dedicated service. Testimonies were shared by both Dr. Patricia O’hagen who acknowledged Mr. Nakayama for his outstanding contributions and awards to the field of Radiology, and Director Kim Suwa for his mentorship.
Alumni and friends enjoyed the delicious buffet prepared by Kapi‘olani CC alumnus, Chef Eddie Mafnas, and his staff of culinary students. A wonderful evening of food and friendship.
