Therapeutic Residential Paraprofessional
Location: Honolulu, HI
Full Time, Oahu – 3 positions
The Therapeutic Residential Paraprofessional (TRP) serves as an important supportive member of the direct care team in a small group home. Along with the Family-Teachers, the Therapeutic Residential Paraprofessional implements the Teaching-Family Model, a proven community-based treatment approach for youth with serious emotional and behavioral problems. Must be able to cover the home 24 hrs./day, as assigned. The Therapeutic Residential Paraprofessional must demonstrate an active commitment to Catholic Charities Mission and strive to incorporate the four Core Values in all aspects of daily work.
EDUCATIONAL & WORK REQUIREMENTS: Must have a high school degree or equivalent and one (1) year of experience working with children and/or adolescents. Must be able to work 8-10 continuous hours of supervising youth.
EMPLOYMENT CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: TB Clearance, CAN Clearance, FBI Clearance, Hawaii/National Sex Offender Clearance, Physical Exam, Traffic Abstract, Hawaii State Criminal Check, Driver’s License, Access to Vehicle with Current Valid Registration, Safety Check, and No-Fault Insurance, 3-Year Employment History, Education Verification.
COMPENSATION: $20.74 - $23.31
