Pay Range:
- $30 - $40 per hour Depending on Experience

Essential Duties & Experience:
- Maintain, alter, repair, and set forms for walls, sidewalks, street curbs, and other related structures or surfaces.
- Level, smooth, and spread concrete using a variety of tools, including shovels, floats, rakes, power or hand trowels, and power or hand screeds.
- Monitors how heat, cold, and wind affect the curing of the concrete throughout the entire building process.
- Constructs manholes, catch basins, and sewer connections.
- Set form design to hold concrete to desired depth and pitch while aligning them.
- Direct cement truck driver to park to ensure that concrete can be poured in the correct spot and move the truck’s chute to put concrete in the right places.
- Molds expansion edges and joints using jointers and straightedge as well as edging tools.
- Acts as an active participant and collaborator with the crew during daily meetings to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are set.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprint plans to determine materials needed and layout patterns.
- Follow directions well and perform tasks accurately with attention to detail.
- Communicates well verbally to convey information effectively.
- Must have reliable transportation to get to work at various locations island wide.
- Journeyman-level knowledge of mixing, pouring, finishing, and selecting concrete.
- Skilled in using hand tools and operating mechanical equipment.
