UHAA–National Capital Region Chapter

The purpose of UHAA-NCRC is to promote and support the University of Hawai‘i (UH) and its campuses as a recognized UHAA alumni constituent group. Encourage membership in the University of Hawai‘i Alumni Association among graduates, former students and supporters of the University of Hawai‘i. Promote UH as an educational institution and provide a support network to UH graduates and UHAA members who are in the regional area. Establish and administer programs to foster a spirit of fraternalism and loyalty among the membership, help promote a strong image of the University of Hawai‘i in the community, and encourage and coordinate activities of the members in support of the educational programs of the University of Hawai‘i.

Chapter Mission

To service as an advocate, advisor and partner of the University of Hawai‘i in the National Capital Region on matters relating to the University and its alumni.

  • Maintain and strengthen our islands' cultural values of diversity and equality
  • Create a unity of purpose and a caring for each other that reflects our desire for ‘ohana
