Army ROTC Alumni Association

The University of Hawai’i Army Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) Chapter

The University of Hawai’i ROTC Alumni Association was established in 1998 by a group of commissioned officers who envisioned the need to provide mentorship to cadets and support the ROTC program. The leadership of the association is currently filled by retired officers, with future leanings toward preparing cadets for careers in the military 

Chapter’s Mission

To instill pride, encourage involvement and inspire commitment through a worldwide network of alumni and friends in order to promote and support the mission of the University of Hawai’i Army ROTC program. Foster an alumni chapter that is vibrant, resourceful, innovative and creative.

Goals

  • Recruit, develop and implement strategy to involve, attract and retain alumni
  • Organize, develop short and long-range plans to support goal 1
  • Build, explore partnerships and relationships (networking)
  • Honor outstanding cadets, ROTC alumni and supporters
  • Mentor cadets and perpetuate the pride that encompasses Hawaii’s diverse culture
  • Keep members involved through newsletters, attendance at special events and various media sources
  • Sponsor ROTC cadets, cadre and others as appropriate
