Alumni shared their UH experiences and prepared local foods for the students and their families at this send-off picnic which has been organized by the UHAA–LA/OC chapter for several years. The potluck menu included favorites such as kalua pork, homemade haupia, macaroni salad, chow fun, chiffon cake and even Spam musubi!
The picnic concluded with each student receiving UH mementos and best wishes from the alumni. It was an invaluable learning opportunity that hopefully prepared the students for the unique UH experience that awaits them!
