UH ‘ohana gathers in Sydney

On Friday, August 26, what was slated to be a relatively small gathering of UH alumni, donors and Warrior football fans quickly turned into an almost 100-person shindig. Preceding the Rainbow Warriors game against the California Golden Bears in Sydney, Australia, the social took place at the Gantry Restaurant & Bar in Sydney, Australia. Attendees were treated to free appetizers and plenty of aloha spirit.

Among attendees were President David Lassner, former UH Mānoa Chancellor Robert Bley-Vroman and Athletics Director Dave Matlin as well as several other members of the UH ‘ohana. While many attendees were UH alumni now living in Australia, the party consisted of many Warrior football donors, fans and supporters who made the trip to Sydney for the game.
