Engineering alumni welcomed back to campus for Holmescoming


The Engineering Alumni Association of UH (EAAUH) welcomed more than 600 alumni and friends back to campus for the 5th Annual Holmescoming Celebration on Nov. 9 at Holmes Hall. The UH Rainbow Warrior Dancers opened the festivities which were emceed by Tammy Mori and Kristine Uyeno ’95 of KHON2 News. UH engineering student chapter organizations provided 100 student volunteers to assist during the event. Guests were treated to entertainment by George Kuo ’78 and Funk n’ Fusion. Delicious food stations were presented by d.k. Steak House and Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar. The $10,000 in net proceeds went to the ten student chapter organizations that participated that evening.

The next event for EAAUH and the UH College of Engineering is the 13th Annual College of Engineering Dinner on Thursday, April 25 at the Hawai‘i Convention Center.
