Alumni and Friends Dinner in Shanghai
Though small in number, the dinner gathering on November 15 at Shanghai Renjia restaurant was very successful. Alumni and friends in attendance immediately found ties and expressed an interest in continuing to network via WeChat and other means. The group closed down the restaurant (and shopping mall) as lively conversations continued.
The attendees included four from Shanghai who were 2012-2013 interns in UH Maui College’s Hospitality and Tourism program (one will return as a TIM student in Spring 2014), three Shidler College of Business graduates, one William S. Richardson School of Law graduate, one connected with ASUH, and numerous friends.
