6th Annual Holmescoming Celebration

The 6th Annual Holmescoming Celebration brought more than 750 engineering alumni and friends back to the familiar grounds of Holmes Hall on November 8 for a night of fun, fellowship and food. Guests gathered under the Mānoa stars and were treated to fine wine, cool drinks and delicious food prepared by award-winning chef D.K. Kodama's popular eateries d.k Steak House, Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar and Hiroshi's Eurasian Tapas Restaurant.

The evening kicked off with an exciting hip-hop dance routine performed by the UH Rainbow Dancers and was in full swing when slack key master and engineering alum George Kuo hit the stage. Recent civil engineering graduates Mat Young and Adam Luke continued to entertain the lively crowd with their soulful sounds. Guests also visited displays and game booths by SPAWAR and 11 student engineering organizations. Co-emcees Tammy Mori and Kristine Uyeno kept the evening flowing from start to finish. The traditional Karaoke contest capped this fun-filled evening.

Big mahalo to the more than 200 College of Engineering student volunteers and to all the corporate sponsors and donors!
