"Dr. Blaisdell inspired every generation of physicians trained at the medical school with his tireless devotion to producing highly-qualified, culturally sensitive doctors for Hawai‘i," said JABSOM Dean Jerris R. Hedges, MD. "Our alumni, faculty and staff overwhelmingly want to bring Dr. Blaisdell's remains home to JABSOM one last time, to give him our aloha."

Visitation begins at 9:00 a.m., with services at 11:00 a.m., and following the service, Nā Hali‘a Aloha from 12:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

Dr. Blaisdell's family and private donors will cover expenses.
