Project Manager- Scheduler (Part Time or Consultant)

Part Time or Consultant

The Project Manager is responsible for developing schedules for the construction and farming operations.  Duties include but are not limited to developing a coordinated schedule incorporating input from the Owner, operations and management staff, the design team, and the contractors (civil and building, electrical, plumbing, solar).  Integrate, prepare, and coordinate the Contract Administration, Pay Applications, Schedule of Values, and Change Orders using AIA documents and Project Administration forms with the construction schedule.  Knowledge of cost and contingency planning required, as well as being able to develop solution scenarios when issues (like weather, construction delays, or lack of resources) arise.  The successful candidate will be a can-do person who takes the initiative and is very organized and systematized in their project management efforts for this dynamic organization.

The project involves multiple buildings and coordination with the operation of our industrial commercial coffee farm in Kealakekua, Hawaii.  Most work can be done remotely.  

 “Requirements”

Maintain and coordinate schedules in Microsoft Project Management on the overall project and farm operations

Maintain, analyze, and develop schedules, assign resources to tasks, track progress, manage project budgets, and analyze workloads.

Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Knowledge of coffee farming and construction a plus.

Excellent organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Efficient multi-tasker who is detailed oriented.

Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills required to handle all aspects of the project.

Excellent telephone stills, strong problem-solving ability

Cost and Contingency planning required.

Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team effort.
