A message from UHAA President Patrick Oki

Fellow alumni,

UHAA President Patrick Oki

The University of Hawai‘i Alumni Association aims to keep all alumni connected with their campuses through communication, events and our Online ‘Ohana. Our collective goal is to ensure that future students have the great opportunities we experienced while attending UH. I ask that you stand with me in support of our alma mater and recognize how our university is improving peoples’ lives and our communities. Each day, UH is making profound contributions to our state, nation and world through its groundbreaking research, teaching excellence and technological innovation.

This fall, more than 60,000 students have chosen one of the University of Hawai‘i’s 10 campuses to begin or continue their educational journeys. This is the highest enrollment in UH’s history! Our university’s impact cannot be overestimated. Let us be mindful of these students and their aspirations; the faculty who continue to share a wealth of knowledge and expertise; the staff who make it all possible; and the leaders who guide the university toward an even brighter future.

I am a proud University of Hawai‘i alumnus. I hope you are, too, and will join me as an advocate of our university.

With aloha,

Patrick Oki (BBA ’92 Mānoa)
President
