 While you are in Washington, D.C., check out the Smithsonian Folklife Festival on the National Mall. The University of Hawai‘i is one of 20 universities from around the country being featured at this year's festival. UH plans to share how the Hawaiian culture, its song, dance, medicinal practices and food have influenced teaching in the community.
